CTRL is a public lab for character rigging, deformation, retargeting, and tooling.

The main site acts as the public front door. Journal writing is published here, while docs, projects, and discussion each keep their own surface.

What the lab studies in public

  • Character rigging and deformation
  • MetaHuman, retargeting, and mocap workflows
  • DCC-specific rig structures and comparison work
  • Pipeline and automation notes that can survive beyond one meeting

How the public system is split

  • Main site for Journal, orientation, and entry flow
  • Docs for guides, project detail docs, and references
  • Projects as a GitHub-linked directory
  • Forum for discussion, replies, and questions

Different work deserves different surfaces.

Journal should read like edited writing. Documentation should read like a manual. Project state should stay close to repositories. Discussion should stay in the forum. CTRL works better when those modes are linked clearly instead of being forced into one generic shell.
